I really don’t know how to start this series, I have the feeling there is so much I need to explain first. So perhaps that’s how it starts. My story how I ended up being 33, still in university and now doing an exchange semester, which has the reputation of partying all the time. Believe me, I feel my age.

Since it is my goal to leave Germany again, the last weeks were a lot about making this happen. And it seems that I found a way and will be able to go back to Bologna. How I did so? Follow me into the rabbit hole…

During my first stay in Israel I met that two Swiss students and since we all wanted to go to Jerusalem, we decided to go together. Thanks to that I saw much more of the city than I would have strolling through the city alone.

It was a cold day in February when I saw a commercial for traveling to Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and maybe the wine was speaking, when I decided to find out, how expensive flights are. Surprisingly not that much as I expected and some days later I booked my first travel to Israel…

Last week I wrote about the University in Bologna in general, what impressed me most, what confused me and what I liked about studying there. This time I will share some more details about my courses in that amazing university.

Lately I am thinking a lot about how I or anyone can travel responsible and sustainable. Not only during a pandemic, even that is on my mind a lot, too, but in general. Today I want to share some thoughts with you about that topic.

Traveling with partner can be a nice thing, but in retrospect, these travels were never so interesting or influenced me as much as my solo-travels, so I’ll skip that trip (most of the time we’re enjoyed me being a employee of a huge entertainment corporation, which allowed us to go into the attractions for free, so really nothing interesting happened then). Let’s jump directly into 2017!

Soon after I started this blog the first restrictions because of COVID-19 became effective in Emilia-Romagna, the Italian region where I was staying. Since we all hoped it will get better soon I kept on writing for this blog. Today I want to share my thoughts and plans with you, before I publish a new travel story on the weekend.

Last week I told you about my first London trip. Can’t remember why but I went from London directly to Marseille and spent there some more days. It rained a lot, but I also had some situations there, which actually felt dangerous. If you’re only interested in positive stories you should skip that post. But if you’re curious what happened and what I learnt from that, keep reading.
